Sofra Bakery

Sofra Bakery

If you’re in Boston, make your way to Sofra for some amazing baked goods and prepared foods. Everything we ate was delicious. And if you’re in the mood for something more formal, chef Ana Sortun has another lovely spot called Oleana. I dream about going back and dining in the  beautiful outdoor courtyard.

  1. M, you 2 need to eat at Sofra. Oleana is fantastic too. I went with Doug and Sip and got to try a bit of deliciousness from the vegetarian tasting menu. The Morrocan donut is a half moon shape with notches on the edge and like a normal donut on the inside. The sugared exterior carries this amazing distinct taste of orange and anise. I don’t even like anise, but in the hands of a genius like Ana Sortun… it’s just perfect. Christine said the macaroons here are to die for.

  2. Oh wow, WOW! I have got to get there. Just curious – did you try the Moroccan donut? What WAS it?
