We went to Pike’s Place Market on a Saturday at 11 am. That was probably a bit of a tactical error. I was taken aback by the crowds. Tons of Washington State and Hawaii fans were browsing before their afternoon game. The market was so mobbed I could barely muscle in to see the guys throwing the fish. And PS, that salmon was much smaller than the ones they throw for the travel and food shows who visit! Despite all of it, I had a great time. The flowers were so amazing, both abundant and affordable. I loved the old throwback feel, with the hanging lamps and glow of neon and bare bulbs. Next time I’m in Seattle I’ll be back and I’ll be spending a lot more time there!
