After wandering the market, we continued the tourist beat and took the parking garage elevator down to the piers. We decided to eat a light lunch at Elliott’s Oyster House on Pier 56. I really loved their frozen champagne migonette with the oysters. So cool and refreshing, perfect on our hot 80 degree day. And I just swoon for these dungeness crab cakes! I’m used to the lump crab meat of the East Coast, but after eating these… I have been converted.
