We tend to cook a lot more in the winter and this long new year’s weekend was no exception.
We’ve thought about making baked eggs, but until recently never owned the ramekins that always appear in the photo along side the recipe. We just threw a bunch of leftovers in ours: diced roast pork and fingerling potatoes with some cheese and tarragon. These white ramekins are vaguely stackable and a nice price at Crate & Barrel.Pomagranate Champagne Punch from New Year’s Eve. This sparkling punch has a beautiful holiday color and matched perfectly with Amy’s Christmas glasses.
It was a cold weekend, full of winds and snow so we made a batch of Pork and Tomatillo Stew from an old Food + Wine magazine.
